In honor of Cinco de Mayo I thought I'd share a portrait of Benito Juárez that I found on Etsy. Juárez was the president of Mexico at the time of the Battle of Puebla, on May 5th, when the Mexicans defeated the French the forces. He was also the first fully indigenous person to officially lead a nation in the Americas in over 300 years. The painting, stencil and spray paint on a wooden panel, was done by SakAttack - a new seller on Etsy.
